HTC Hero running WP7 on Smallville
This is pretty impressive to see, a HTC Hero (my previous Android device prior to WP7) has been spotted on Smallville, why is this important? It’s not running Eclair (2.1) but Windows Phone 7.
As you can see in the capture above Lois Lane’s contact picture with an obvious WP7 home screen in the background. This device was a powerhouse on Android, to see it on WP7 would be exciting indeed.

Is the HTC Ignite a new Windows Phone?
The left image comes to us from XDA.cn, which in fairness, does get a high amount of accurate leaks–well, they get it right some of the time. The above rendering is of the supposed HTC Ignite, a device rumored for a mid-2011 release. As Pocketnow notes, the HTC Ignite is also listed on UK etailer King of Gadgets, so the name may be in use by HTC after all (although to be honest, it sounds like Android for some reason).
The contradictions come into play with the specs: resistive screen and an 800MHz processor? Umm, no. And there’s no evidence to suggest that Microsoft is downgrading the chassis requirements. It’s not Chassis 2, which are front-qwerty devices with a different resolution and not coming anytime soon, so something is not correct there.
Still, forget all of that: we like this image and HTC should make this design ’cause it’s slick as all heck. Reminds a bit of the Nexus S.

HTC Mazaa Coming To Sprint?
Leaked images of a new Windows Phone have surfaced. The HTC Mazaa appears to be sporting a 3.7″ screen and, according to unconfirmed reports, will be headed to Sprint in the next six or so months.
The Mazaa resembles the HTC Trophy and is rumored to use DDR2 memory to improve overall speed. The tipster makes not of what appears to be an IMEI number on the phone which could mean the Mazaa has GSM capabilities. Could Sprint be poised to launch a Windows Phone 7 world phone?
All of which leads us to the inevitable question, which will hit the market first, the Sprint Mazaa or Verizon Trophy?

LG Thrill 4G and HTC HD7S are new phones for AT&T US
AT&T announced today that it will be converting two well-known devices to its lineup and making them 4G-capable. Those are the HTC HD7 and LG Optimus 3D.
Keep in mind that in this case 4G refers to HSPA+ 21Mbps, not the real-deal LTE. Still we guess there will be many people willing to buy either.
The two smartphones are also getting new names. HTC HD7 gets an “S” to its name – HTC HD7S. And the LG Optimus 3D will be LG Thrill 4G. Pretty much nothing else is changed.
The HD7S has the same 4.3-inch LCD display, 5 megapixel snapper and Windows Phone 7 OS, as highlights.
The LG Thrill 4G has the same 4.3-inch stereoscopic display, dual-core 1GHz processor, Android 2.2 and dual 5-megapixel camera with 3D capturing capabilities both in stills and video. The LG features 1080p output regular video and 720p 3D video.
With the LG Thrill 4G AT&T will also debut the LG 3D Space, which will have 3D content, such as games, video and images.
It isn’t quite sure whether the 3D Space will be a service only through AT&T or it will be available worldwide.
HTC’s HD7S will be coming in the weeks to follow, while the LG Thrill 4G will be released by AT&T in the months to come. Exact dates aren’t given though.
